Responsibilities

Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all ingredients are fresh and of high quality for meal preparation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist in the preparation of other menu items as needed, contributing to overall kitchen operations. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods. Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal flavour and presentation of dishes. Maintain equipment and utensils in good working order, reporting any issues promptly.

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant environment is preferred. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and culinary techniques is essential. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is required. Previous experience in a similar role or culinary training is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow recipes accurately. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
