We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary practices, with a focus on pizza preparation and cooking. As a Pizza Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals to our customers while maintaining food safety standards and ensuring an efficient kitchen operation.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to our established recipes and customer preferences. Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and utilised efficiently to minimise waste. Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations at all times. Assist in meal preparation for other menu items as needed, contributing to overall kitchen operations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality of food served. Help train new kitchen staff on pizza preparation techniques and kitchen protocols.

Skills

Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant setting, preferably with a focus on pizza or Italian cuisine. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques related to meal preparation. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers.
