We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, with a focus on meal preparation and food safety. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for crafting delicious pizzas that meet our high standards of quality and taste, while ensuring that the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences. Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and used within their shelf life. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to food safety standards at all times. Assist in the preparation of other menu items as needed, contributing to overall kitchen operations. Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality of food served. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Help train new kitchen staff on pizza preparation techniques and kitchen protocols.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar environment, preferably with pizza-making experience. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, meal preparation, and food safety practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining high standards of quality. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 11.44-16.04 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
