We are seeking an experienced Planned Maintenance & Infrastructure Manager to lead the delivery of planned and reactive works across rail infrastructure and buildings. This is a hands-on role, responsible for planning access, managing resources, and ensuring safe, high-quality delivery with minimal impact to live rail operations.
The role
Lead day-to-day delivery of PPM and reactive maintenance works
Plan possessions and isolations using PPS and attend planning meetings
Manage safe systems of work, RAMS, permits and site controls
Coordinate supervisors, operatives, plant and materials
Oversee quality inspections, close-out and handover documentation
Control productivity, timesheets, costs and programme performance
Liaise with clients, depot operations, TOCs and subcontractors
Produce weekly performance and KPI reports
About you
Proven experience managing maintenance or infrastructure works in rail or civils
Strong knowledge of Network Rail standards, access planning and CDM
Confident leading teams in live rail and night-working environments
Commercially aware with strong planning and coordination skills
PTS-eligible with a full UK driving licence
SMSTS/SSSTS and framework experience desirable
Salary and benefits
Salary between 55,000 and 65,000 per annum, depending on experience
20 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing by 1 day per year of service up to a maximum of 25 days
