Reports To: Senior Planner

You'll work closely with the Senior Planner, gaining valuable experience and support while helping to shape our planning strategy.

Duties & Responsibilities

To have knowledge of all requirements of supply chain - from agriculture to customer. Contribute to the Planning department by developing your skills in line with MP values. Produce daily plans and schedules tailored to factory department needs: + RTC
+ Primary
+ Whole Birds (including GUI control for accurate bird supply)
Assist in creating mid-term plans and schedules to forecast site requirements. Monitor ingredient, flesh, and packaging stocks to ensure 100% Customer Service Level (CSL). Liaise with Purchasing to ensure timely and accurate resource supply. Generate short- and medium-term sales forecasts, adjusting based on actual sales. Collaborate with Senior Planner, Planning Manager, and Central Category Planning to resolve capacity issues. Communicate effectively with all sites and departments including Sales, Purchasing, Commercial, Distribution, and Technical. Contribute to new product and specification reviews, especially regarding bird availability and production impact. Undertake relevant projects or investigations as required. Support continuous improvement within the department and site. Provide team cover during absences.
