About the role





The main purpose of this role is to support the development of sustainable communities to live, grow, thrive, together through the delivery of high-quality customer and neighbourhood-focused services in relation to the property services of the organisation.



As part of the Repairs Team within the wider Property Services Department, you will liaise directly with the organisation's customers, contractors, operatives and suppliers daily ensuring high levels of communication, administration and delivering market-leading levels of customer satisfaction.



You will strive to continuously improve the quality of the service and engage in a culture of best-practice, safety and a customer-focused obsession within your team.




The role - What You'll be doing



You will be responsible for the daily scheduling and planning of repair works through Accuserv and the electronic mobile devices for operatives, creating maximum efficiency and ensuring key performance indicators are maintained and appointments not missed. You will engage with customers, operatives, contractors and suppliers to drive both individual and business performance in terms of customer service, legal compliance, operational efficiency and cost effectiveness. Create and maintain good working relationships with operatives liaising with them throughout the day ensuring all targets are met and cross department KPIs are achieved on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Liaise with the day-to-day Repairs Managers to ensure the best use of labour and the time allocation of repairs and liaise accordingly to resolve any issues with materials required. Ensure customers are kept fully informed at all times either by telephone, text and email or appointment letters and utilising new communication technologies as they develop. Ensure both Accuserv and CRM repairs systems are accurate and real time reflection of the repair status, recording, updating and closing jobs in a timely manner.

What we're looking for




Knowledge of resource planning within a housing association environment or similar. Knowledge of the end-to-end repairs process (desirable). Knowledge of repairs diagnosis and repairs procedures including basic knowledge on materials and trades required to promote a first-time fix. Knowledge of current housing legislation that impacts on the delivery of the repairs service provided day to day Understanding of disrepair legislation and its impact on resource scheduling. Ability to work with a wide range of IT software systems including Microsoft Office, Accuserve, Keystone, CX Feedback, Electronic Mailing and MSD365 and continually develop skills as new software is introduced.
