? Reports To: Senior Planner
You'll work closely with the Senior Planner, gaining valuable experience and support while helping to shape our planning strategy.
? Location: Anwick

?? Duties & Responsibilities

• To have knowledge of all requirements of supply chain - from agriculture to customer.
• Contribute to the Planning department by developing your skills in line with MP values.
• Produce daily plans and schedules tailored to factory department needs:

• RTC
• Primary
• Whole Birds (including GUI control for accurate bird supply)
• Assist in creating mid-term plans and schedules to forecast site requirements.
• Monitor ingredient, flesh, and packaging stocks to ensure 100% Customer Service Level (CSL).
• Liaise with Purchasing to ensure timely and accurate resource supply.
• Generate short- and medium-term sales forecasts, adjusting based on actual sales.
• Collaborate with Senior Planner, Planning Manager, and Central Category Planning to resolve capacity issues.
• Communicate effectively with all sites and departments including Sales, Purchasing, Commercial, Distribution, and Technical.
• Contribute to new product and specification reviews, especially regarding bird availability and production impact.
• Undertake relevant projects or investigations as required.
• Support continuous improvement within the department and site.
• Provide team cover during absences.
