The Opportunity:

This role requires an experienced professional with extensive knowledge of corporate performance management and business intelligence systems. The successful candidate will be a key technical expert supporting the firm's migration from an on-premises IBM TM1 environment to the IBM Planning Analytics SaaS platform.



A key requirement is the ability to design and implement robust, scalable solutions for complex financial modelling, planning, and reporting challenges. Working both independently and as part of a collaborative team, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of the firm's financial analytics capabilities. Based on your deep technical expertise, you will proactively support the firm's strategy by designing, developing, and maintaining the Planning Analytics environment to meet evolving business needs.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

Lead the design, development, and implementation of solutions within the IBM Planning Analytics environment, including the creation and maintenance of cubes, dimensions, rules, and TurboIntegrator processes. Play a supporting role in the technical migration from the existing on-premises TM1 platform to the new Planning Analytics SaaS environment, ensuring a seamless transition for users. Develop and enhance insightful, user-friendly reports, dashboards, and data input templates using Planning Analytics for Excel (PAfE) and Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW). Collaborate with the wider technology team to ensure efficient and reliable data integration between Planning Analytics and other enterprise systems. Provide third-tier technical support, troubleshooting complex issues and ensuring the performance, security, and stability of the Planning Analytics application.


This is a full-time, 12 month Fixed Term Contract role based in our London office with hybrid working.

About you:

The successful candidate will have:


Hands-on development experience with IBM Planning Analytics / TM1. Deep technical expertise in the core components of the platform, including Architect, Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW), and Planning Analytics for Excel (PAfE). Proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining complex TM1 models, including dimensions, cubes, advanced rules, and TurboIntegrator processes. A strong understanding of on-premises TM1 architecture and demonstrable experience in a migration project to the IBM Planning Analytics SaaS environment. Ability to work consultatively with business and finance users to gather requirements and translate them into robust and efficient technical solutions.
