Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Town Planning Director to lead an expanding team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of town planning projects, providing strategic direction, and managing a talented team of professionals. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects across various sectors, including agriculture, residential, retail, energy and waste, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
\xc2\xb7Lead and manage the town planning team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure project success and team development.
\xc2\xb7Develop and implement strategic plans to deliver high-quality town planning services, meeting client objectives and regulatory requirements.
\xc2\xb7Act as a key point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies, fostering strong relationships and promoting the consultancy\'s reputation for excellence.
\xc2\xb7Provide expert advice and guidance on complex town planning issues, offering innovative solutions and driving project delivery forward.
\xc2\xb7Collaborate with other disciplines within the consultancy to deliver integrated solutions that address client needs and project challenges.
\xc2\xb7Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes, ensuring the consultancy remains at the forefront of town planning innovation.

Requirements:
\xc2\xb7Degree in Town Planning or related field; Chartered Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) preferred.
\xc2\xb7Significant experience in town planning, including a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects across multiple sectors.
\xc2\xb7Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team of professionals.
\xc2\xb7Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members at all levels.
\xc2\xb7Sound knowledge of town planning legislation, regulations, and procedures in the UK.
\xc2\xb7Proven ability to think strategically, solve problems, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
\xc2\xb7Commitment to delivering high-quality work, meeting deadlines, and exceeding client expectations.
