Due to continued growth and an ever-expanding workload, we have some really exciting opportunities for career minded Planning Engineers to join our growing and Award-Winning Infrastructure Consultancy Business and work with our variable clients and projects within Defence, Energy, Water & Transportation.

Roles are predominantly home based but travel to the office / site within the UK will be required, so 2/3 days per week can be expected on site / in office, along with the eligibility required for obtaining Security Clearance. Current and forthcoming locations include Cheshire, Central Midlands, Lancashire, Somerset & Suffolk.

Role Requirements

As a Planning Engineer you will be responsible for providing planning support working with Project Managers to develop and manage schedules to incorporate risk, change, resource requirements and cost.

Utilising your knowledge and expertise in the Project Controls discipline you will be responsible for providing Project Control solutions and services to our clients. You will also be a key contributor to improving processes, procedures and tools utilised by the function.

You will be required to undertake short-term or long-term commissions to address a variety of customer needs. Previous planning experience in a similar role ideally within Infrastructure Consultancy is required along with;

\xc2\xb7 A stable employment history

\xc2\xb7 Ideally you will have worked in roles which have required Security Clearance

\xc2\xb7 Mobility to travel to sites and client locations as required

\xc2\xb7 Relevant formal qualification for the position (or equivalent experience)

\xc2\xb7 Minimum of HNC/HND ideally in an Engineering discipline or relevant experience

\xc2\xb7 Primavera P6 skilled

\xc2\xb7 MSP competent (but not essential)

\xc2\xb7 MS Office competent

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of contracts, including NEC and Extension of Time calculations

Right to Work & Security Checks
