Main Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing, maintaining, and adjusting detailed production and delivery schedules to meet customer demand.
Act as the primary point of contact for customer delivery queries, ensuring clear communication and service excellence throughout the order lifecycle.
Monitor capacity planning and resource allocation, making proactive adjustments where necessary.
Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to accurately forecast demand and manage expectations.
Liaise with the transport team to coordinate efficient and timely deliveries.
Ensure alignment between planning systems, factory output, and logistics operations.
Continuously seek to improve planning processes and customer communication standards.
Handle planning-related issues promptly and professionally, mitigating any potential impact on production or customer service.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date planning records and documentation.
Serve as the main liaison for customer delivery queries.
Develop and manage production and delivery schedules.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely and efficient operations.
Analyse production data and delivery performance using Excel tools.
Use Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.) for data analysis and reporting.
Support the integration and optimisation of planning systems.
Line Management responsibility for the two Factory Production Planners.
Management & Leadership:
Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements in planning and communication processes.
Organise the team to ensure that the monthly processes are completed with efficiency and quality.
Provide day to day leadership, direction, and support for the direct team and wider departmental teams.
