Now, we're looking for a Plant Engineering Manager to lead part of our site operations at Shotton.

What you will do

This role is ideal for a senior-level engineer who's ready to lead and influence beyond technical delivery. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of a team of Engineers and Technicians - with a focus on driving reliability, continuous improvement and safe working practices.



In your day-to-day work, you'll:


Lead engineering project delivery and manage departmental budgets Collaborate closely with technical and manufacturing teams to align priorities Shape, develop and embed competence across the site Provide hands-on support for process improvement and H&S leadership Deliver training and coaching to engineers and operators as part of development planning Contribute to annual maintenance budgets and manage procurement of engineering spares and consumables

This is a hands-on, people-focused role that offers the chance to influence long-term site performance, culture and capability.

What you will need

We're looking for someone who combines deep technical expertise with confident team leadership and a strong commitment to safety.



You'll need:


Strong understanding of engineering practices and legislative compliance Effective supervisory and coaching skills Commercial awareness and experience managing engineering budgets Confidence delivering training and influencing across departments
