We are seeking a experienced Plant Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing various components and systems in accordance with specifications and safety standards. This role requires attention to detail and a strong understanding of engineering drawings and technical documents.

Duties

Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine the layout of fittings and components. Assemble and install piping, valves, fittings, and other mechanical components. Conduct repairs and maintenance on existing installations to ensure optimal performance. Perform quality checks on completed work to ensure compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Skills

Proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics. Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in fitting or assembly work. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues and supervisors.

Requirements

Previous experience preferred CSCS Card Full UK Driving License
