Plant
Hire Controller
to join our team and play a key role in delivering a first-class service to our customers and keeping our plant hire operations running smoothly. You'll be organised, detail-oriented, and confident communicating across teams and with clients.
What you'll do
As an essential part of the
Hire Desk
team, you'll:
Manage the hire and off-hire process for plant and equipment
Provide pricing and specification support to Hire Negotiators
Ensure accurate and timely quotes are raised for all enquiries
Maintain up-to-date Live and Closed Hire records
Monitor and manage re-charges
Support with hire desk revenue and detailed customer reports
Ensure all information provided is accurate and complete
Respond to and resolve hire-related customer queries
Liaise daily with both the Service and Transport departments
What we're looking for
We're looking for a motivated and proactive team player who brings energy, attention to detail, and strong organisational skills to the role.
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Well-organised, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
Confident using Microsoft Excel
Basic knowledge of plant equipment
A focused, driven mindset and a positive team attitude
