We require a generator / plant hire engineer / diesel mechanic. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer to pursue a new career and challenge. We pride ourselves on our servicing skills and equipment quality and need a qualified engineer to help us maintain this fantastic service for our customers. This role would also be suitable for someone from another industry however we do require some experience of working on diesel engines.

Duties include servicing and repair of our plant hire fleet of diesel powered generators from 15-500kVA, tower lights and heaters mainly in the yard, and on occasions out on site. Out of hours servicing will be required occasionally, this would be on a rota system, please get in touch if you require more details about this.

Experience of working on diesel engines is essential and a CSCS card would also be advantageous as most of our equipment will be on construction sites, however we can support you to get this if needed. If you have some electrical knowledge that would also be beneficial. You must also have a full clean UK driving licence.

This role would suit someone looking for a new role who is previously from the plant hire or diesel automotive industry.
