Responsibilities

Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of plant machinery and equipment. Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure minimal downtime. Interpret schematics and technical drawings to troubleshoot issues effectively. Utilise programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation processes. Conduct welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications. Provide electrical expertise to diagnose and resolve electrical faults. Supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and customer service excellence. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.

Skills

Strong ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes. Experience in welding techniques and practices is advantageous. Solid electrical experience, with a thorough understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols. Comprehensive mechanical knowledge, particularly related to plant operations. Proven experience in maintenance roles, demonstrating a hands-on approach to problem-solving. Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, for effective communication across teams. Strong customer service orientation, ensuring that internal stakeholders' needs are met promptly.
