About the Role

DSM Contract Lifting Services Ltd is looking for an

Experienced Plant Movement Operative

to join our busy team. The role includes:

Plant strip-out and removals Installation and relocation of machinery and equipment Working with mobile cranes and contract lift teams Supporting lifting operations across construction and industrial projects
This is a

hands-on, safety-critical role

with strong earning potential, long-term stability, and a clear progression pathway.

Pay & Benefits

185/day PAYE

- annual package

53,280 incl. holiday pay

Overtime rates:

Saturday:

277.50/day (time-and-a-half)

Sunday:

330/day

Bank Holidays:

370/day (double time)

OTE 63k+ realistic with weekends

Key Responsibilities

Strip-out, remove, relocate, and install plant & machinery Work with crane teams, slinging & signalling loads safely Drive company vans to transport tools and lifting equipment Carry out daily pre-use checks on vehicles and lifting gear Follow RAMS, site safety rules, and company procedures Keep tools, PPE, and equipment serviceable and safe Maintain a professional attitude on all sites
Requirements

Proven experience in plant movement / machinery installation Knowledge of working with cranes and contract lifts Full UK Driving Licence (clean licence essential) Slinger/Signaller ticket (desirable) HIAB licence/experience (advantageous) Physically fit and safety-conscious Strong team player with clear communication skills
