Interfuse Ltd is a family run business, established in 1965 for the manufacture of precast masonry blocks at locations in Syston and Gainsborough.

The Syston Plant is one of the most modern in the UK, allowing the production of dense and lightweight blocks in a range of sizes, in solid, cellular and hollow format with standard and close textured finishes, distributed through Builders' Merchants to Customers' throughout the country.

Interfuse Limited are seeking a hardworking, self-motivated Plant Operative to join the team at their Syston (Leicester) plant.

Working hours:

Full time Monday to Friday with shifts between the production hours of 6am-6pm. Additional hours and Saturday mornings as required.
Duties:

Tasks relating to all aspects of the block production process. Loading and unloading of block lorries ready for delivery to customers. Transferring finished goods from the production line to relevant stock locations. Loading and filling aggregate bins and material bays with relevant material Assist in the operation of automated block machine Quality control checks. Including block height, weight, appearance and moisture control. Daily plant and machine checks and assist with plant maintenance/cleaning duties. Able to work on own initiative or as part of a team. Work in accordance with risk assessments, safe systems of work, Health & Safety and Environmental Policy. Carry out additional duties within your skills and experience, where required, to support the needs of the business GDPR compliance at all times
Requirements:

Ideally experienced in manufacturing background. Experience driving plant machinery such as loading shovel and forklifts (desirable)
Pay:

Potential earnings of approx. 35,000-40,000 PA Time & a half after 8 hours, plus production bonus and double time at weekends
