About the role:

Astute\xe2\x80\x99s Renewables team is partnered with an established business within the renewable energy sector, who design, build and operate a portfolio of Anaerobic Digestion Plants. They are looking to recruit a Site Operative for the renewable energy plant in Malmesbury.

The Site Operative plays a vital part in ensuring the site is run correctly and high standards of health & safety are maintained. The role comes with a salary of between \xc2\xa325,000 \xe2\x80\x93 \xc2\xa331,000 DOE (depending on experience), and company benefits.

We are keen to speak to those who have experience within AD or agriculture but would also like to speak to those who are new to the sector and are mechanically minded with a passion for renewable energy.

Responsibilities and duties:
Reporting to the Plant Supervisor, you will:

• Support with the day to day running of the anaerobic digestion plant
• Carrying out basic first line maintenance
• Operating mobile plant, such as a telehandler or loading shovel
• Monitoring the pant via the SCADA
• Keeping the site clean and tidy
• Maintaining high levels of health & safety
• Other duties as required

Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:

• Mobile plant experience is desired
• Engineering qualification/certificate is desired

Personal skills:
The Site Operative role would suit someone who has:

• Previous operator experience in anaerobic digestion or a similar processing environment, such as water treatment, food manufacturing
• Mobile plant experience
• First line maintenance experience
• Agricultural experience would be considered
• Great work ethic
