Overview

We currently wish to recruit a number of Plant Operators to fill vacancies throughout a number of sites in the Greater Belfast area.

Plant operators control and operate 360 tracked excavators for pipe laying. Mobile plant operators may perform the following tasks: prepare machines for operation, select, change and operate special attachments; work under the direction of supervisors and engineers; load and unload equipment from low loaders and move it around work sites; service equipment by cleaning, lubricating and re-fuelling it and make minor adjustments and repairs when necessary; maintain duty of care for other users and work to occupational health and safety requirements.

Experience

Previous experience in a civil engineering environment is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with operating 360 tracked excavator Possession of a valid driver's licence at the time of appointment and a driving record acceptable to the company A commitment to safety practices and protocols is crucial for this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 17.00-19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 45 per week
