Role purpose:




A key administrative role supporting the Plant Service Manager in the coordination and documentation of all plant servicing activities across GSA geotechnical sites. The Plant Service Administrator ensures accurate record-keeping, supports scheduling and compliance, and facilitates communication between service teams, site personnel, and parent company plant departments. This role is essential to maintaining operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and service transparency across the alliance

What you'll be doing

Support the Plant Service Manager in coordinating daily service operations across GSA sites Maintain accurate records of plant servicing, repairs, inspections, and compliance documentation Ensure all documentation meets regulatory standards under LOLER, PUWER, and parent company policies and procedures Schedule and track preventative maintenance and breakdown response activities Liaise with welders, electricians, mechanical and hydraulic fitters to ensure service tasks are logged and completed Assist in preparing service reports, performance metrics, and audit documentation Coordinate with parent company plant yards and fabrication workshops for service support and design requests Monitor service requests from site teams and ensure timely communication and resolution Maintain digital and physical filing systems for service history, certifications, and technical documentation Ensure GDPR compliance in the handling and storage of operational and personnel data Support budget tracking and cost reporting for service activities Assist in onboarding new plant assets and updating service databases Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in service administration and process efficiency

Who we're looking for




Experience in administrative support within plant operations or construction environments Strong organisational and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and plant service management systems Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks Understanding of plant servicing workflows and documentation requirements Familiarity with LOLER, PUWER, and parent company compliance standards Knowledge of GDPR and data protection practices
