Overview

We are seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in plastering techniques and be proficient in the use of various hand and power tools. This role involves working on a variety of projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. The Plasterer will collaborate with other tradespeople, contributing to the overall success of construction and renovation projects.

Responsibilities

Apply plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to create a smooth finish. Prepare surfaces for plastering by cleaning, repairing, and applying bonding agents as necessary. Use hand tools and power tools effectively for mixing, applying, and finishing plaster. Perform bricklaying and masonry tasks as required for specific projects. Collaborate with carpenters, roofers, and welders to ensure seamless integration of work across trades. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety regulations. Inspect completed work for quality assurance before final sign-off.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Plasterer or in a similar role within the construction industry. Proficiency in using hand tools such as trowels, floats, and scrapers. Familiarity with power tools commonly used in plastering and construction. Knowledge of bricklaying, masonry, carpentry, roofing, and welding is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with an ability to produce high-quality finishes. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
