We are seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastering and related construction trades, demonstrating proficiency with various hand and power tools. This role involves working on diverse projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
Apply plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to create a smooth finish.
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, repairing, and applying bonding agents as necessary.
Use hand tools and power tools effectively for mixing, applying, and finishing plaster.
Collaborate with other tradespeople such as bricklayers, masons, carpenters, and roofers to ensure project completion.
Conduct repairs on existing plasterwork and perform maintenance tasks as required.
Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment at all times.
Read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings to understand project specifications.
Experience
Proven experience as a Plasterer or in a similar role within the construction industry is essential.
Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in plastering and general construction work.
Experience in bricklaying, masonry, carpentry, roofing, or welding is advantageous but not mandatory.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver high-quality workmanship consistently.
