We are seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastering and related construction skills, with the ability to work efficiently and effectively on various projects. As a Plasterer, you will be responsible for applying plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to create a smooth finish. Your expertise will contribute to the overall quality and aesthetics of our construction projects.
Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces for plastering by cleaning, repairing, and ensuring they are free from dust and debris.
Mix plaster to the correct consistency for application.
Apply plaster using hand tools and power tools to achieve a smooth finish on walls and ceilings.
Work collaboratively with other tradespeople, including carpenters and bricklayers, to ensure seamless integration of plasterwork with other construction elements.
Perform repairs on existing plaster surfaces as needed.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety regulations.
Assist in the installation of fixtures that may require plastering around them, such as windows or doors.
Must have tools and be able to travel to and from jobs with own vehicle
