Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastering and related construction skills, with the ability to work on a variety of projects. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. The Plasterer will be responsible for applying plaster, rendering surfaces, and ensuring a smooth finish on walls and ceilings.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for plastering by cleaning and repairing as necessary Mix plaster according to specifications and apply it to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces Use hand tools and power tools effectively to achieve desired finishes Work with bricklaying and masonry techniques as required for specific projects Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and roofers, to ensure project completion Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations Conduct repairs on existing plasterwork as needed Assist in the installation of fixtures or fittings that may require plastering

Requirements

Proven experience as a Plasterer or in a similar role within the construction industry Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plastering tasks Knowledge of bricklaying, masonry, carpentry, roofing, and welding is advantageous Strong attention to detail with an eye for quality finishes Ability to work independently or as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills Physical stamina and strength to perform manual tasks throughout the day A valid driving licence may be beneficial for travel between job sites
