Job Summary



We are looking for a qualified and experienced Plasterer to provide high-quality plastering services to our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out plastering work, including plastering, rendering, and dry lining, to a high standard and in accordance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Duties & Responsibilities



Key Responsibilities:



Plastering Services:

Carry out plastering work, including plastering, rendering, and dry lining, to a high standard and in accordance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Client Communication:

Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service.

Work Quality:

Ensure that all work is carried out to a high standard, in accordance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Safety Procedures:

Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Teamwork:

Work effectively as part of a team to ensure that work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Qualifications & Experience



Education:

SVQ Level 3 Plastering or equivalent

Certification:

CSCS card or ability to obtain one

Experience:

A minimum of 2 years' experience as a plasterer in a maintenance or construction environment.

Knowledge:



Knowledge of traditional plastering techniques An understanding of modern plastering materials, including gypsum-based plasters and specialised finishes Familiarity with building regulations and building standards Knowledge of Health & Safety Familiarity and knowledge of hand tools and power tools Ability to diagnose and repair defects in plastering, including cracks, uneven surfaces and water damage

Skills:



Strong knowledge of plastering techniques and materials Ability to work at heights and confined spaces Excellent communication skills Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment Be able to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively

Technology:



Be comfortable with smartphones/tablets for accessing work schedules and communication tools. Familiarity with power tools and machinery and their safety features

Pay: From 17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 40 per week
