Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plasterer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for patching and making good to interior surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet project specifications.

Responsibilities

Applying plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces in accordance with project plans and safety standards Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or applying bonding agents to ensure optimal adhesion Mixing plaster materials accurately using appropriate tools and techniques Operating hand tools such as trowels, hawks, and floats to achieve smooth finishes Utilising power tools safely for cutting, mixing, or surface preparation tasks Performing minor carpentry tasks related to surface preparation or finishing details Conducting repairs or touch-ups on existing plastered surfaces as needed Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements

Proven experience in plastering Proficiency with hand tools including trowels, floats, and chisels Experience operating power tools safely and effectively in a construction environment Ability to perform basic carpentry tasks is advantageous but not essential Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to deliver high-quality finishes Good physical fitness with the ability to work at heights and in confined spaces if necessary Relevant qualifications or certifications in construction trades are preferred but not mandatory A valid UK driving licence is desirable for site access and material transportation purposes

Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 2 weeks

Pay: 20.00-22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
