Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plasterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastering techniques and a keen eye for detail. As a Plasterer, you will be responsible for applying plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces, ensuring a smooth and professional finish. This role requires proficiency in using various tools and materials, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for plaster application by cleaning, repairing, and priming as necessary. Mix plaster materials according to specifications to achieve the desired consistency. Apply plaster using hand tools and power tools to achieve an even coat on walls and ceilings. Finish plastered surfaces by smoothing, sanding, or texturing as required. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and bricklayers, to ensure seamless integration of work. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by properly storing tools and materials. Follow health and safety regulations at all times while working on-site.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Plasterer or in a similar role within the construction industry. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plastering tasks. Strong attention to detail with excellent finishing skills. Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials when necessary. Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
