About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable

Plasterer

to join our growing construction and maintenance team in Nottingham. The successful candidate will carry out plastering work on a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and refurbishment sites, ensuring a high-quality finish in line with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

Apply coats of plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces using traditional and modern techniques. Prepare surfaces for plastering, including cleaning, patching, and levelling. Carry out plaster repairs, skimming, rendering, and dry-lining as required. Mix plastering materials to the correct consistency. Ensure work is completed to a professional standard, meeting health & safety regulations. Collaborate with other trades on-site to complete projects efficiently. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order. Provide accurate updates on job progress to site supervisors or managers.

Requirements

Proven experience as a

Plasterer

in the UK (minimum 3 years preferred). Strong knowledge of plastering techniques, including skimming, rendering, and patchwork. Ability to read technical drawings and specifications. Good understanding of health & safety practices on construction sites. Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver a high-quality finish. Own tools and transport (preferred). Valid CSCS card (desirable).
