Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced (min 5 years) Plasterer/Dryliner to join our team. This is a temporary position (minimum 4 weeks).

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for plaster application by cleaning and smoothing as necessary. Mix plaster according to specifications and apply it using appropriate tools and techniques. Work with various materials including masonry and bricklaying to ensure proper adhesion and finish. Use power tools and hand tools effectively for plastering tasks, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople on-site to achieve project goals. Inspect finished work for quality assurance and make adjustments as needed. Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all tools are properly stored after use. Follow health and safety regulations while working on-site, particularly when working at heights or in confined spaces.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Plasterer or in a similar role within the construction industry. Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and other equipment related to plastering. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong attention to detail with excellent finishing skills. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labour tasks effectively. Good communication skills to liaise with team members and clients as necessary. Access to own tools and own van.
