Job Description

An opportunity has arisen with an immediate start to join the Laying division of one of the UK's most progressive poultry companies, as a farm worker / Egg Grader on a modern free range unit.

Experience is not necessary for this position... if you have strong transferable experience and are willing adapt and strive for excellence in your new position then the job might be right for you.

This role is 48 hours per week and includes weekend working, you will get the same day off in the week each week.

Responsibilities will typically include:

- Ensuring bird welfare

- Maintaining safe working practices & high levels of site and personal bio-security standards.

- Flexibility to cover last minute breakdowns or increases in workload and understanding that working with livestock is not a 9-5 position.

- Accurate record keeping

- High Levels of attention to detail whilst Packing and grading Eggs

Plus, Other tasks commensurate with the role or any other relevant or delegated duties required by the Farm Manager.

The successful candidates will:
