Plater/Welder
Mexborough, Full Time 8am - 4.30pm, Permanent
xc2xa318.50ph with Paid Overtime
Our client a well-established family run engineering company are looking for a Plater/Welder to join their small busy team. As a key member of the fabrication team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welds and fabrications, working from technical drawings and specifications to meet project deadlines.
Duties include:
- Fabrication and welding of components using MIG methods
- Working with mild steel and stainless-steel materials
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
- Ensuring work is completed to the highest standard and within tight deadlines
- Working as part of the welding team to complete the project within the timeline indicated by the Works Manager
- Previous experience as a MIG Welder
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Welding qualifications and experience are essential
