Pay:

9.00-12.21 per hour

: Play Assistant

PICNIC is a fun, exciting and highly regarded children's role play centre in Kingston-upon-Thames. It operates 7 days per week and includes a cafe on site, serving a range of hot and cold meals and snacks for the whole family.

We are looking for sociable individuals with plenty of energy and enthusiasm and a desire to work in an environment with children. Ability to use initiative is a must, with the ultimate aim of ensuring all guests, both adults and children, have an enjoyable visit.

Duties include:

Welcoming and checking in customers as they arrive Engaging with customers and parents whilst monitoring the play areas Re-setting and tidying the toys and props Working at the till Serving food and drinks Making teas and coffees Clearing tables and cleaning Basic food preparation
Experience in customer service and working with children preferred, but not essential as full training will be provided.

The successful applicant must be available to work a weekend shift every week, and typically one additional shift during the week. Additional shifts are available during school holidays.

Shifts are typically 8.45pm- 6pm.
