About the Role:

Commercial Play Ltd designs and installs bespoke timber playgrounds, outdoor classrooms, and sensory play areas for schools and nurseries. We are looking for skilled

installers

to join our team -- either on a

full-time basis

or as

subcontractors

.

The role involves assembling and installing wooden play structures, surfacing, canopies, fencing, and other outdoor features. You'll be working on rewarding educational sites where the finish and safety are key.

Key Responsibilities:

Install playground equipment, canopies, surfacing, and other features from supplied drawings and briefs. Complete basic groundwork, including post setting, digging, laying stone, edging, and surfacing prep. Use power tools and site equipment safely and efficiently. Liaise with the Operations Manager for handovers, updates, and daily briefs. Keep a tidy, safe site and ensure a high-quality finish to all work. Represent Commercial Play professionally on school and nursery sites.
Requirements:

Experience in outdoor construction, playground installation, fencing, or landscaping. Basic knowledge of groundworks and working with timber. Reliable, punctual, and able to work unsupervised or in small teams. Own transport and tools (subcontractors). CSCS card preferred but not essential. Able to read layout drawings or follow verbal site instructions.
