Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Play Friend. As a Play Friend, you will be responsible for engaging with a child with ASN in a nurturing and educational environment, fostering their growth and development through play and interaction.
Responsibilities
- Organise and lead play activities for child
- Create a safe and stimulating play environment
- Communicate effectively with child and parents
- Manage group dynamics during play sessions
- Supervise children during playtime
- Drive engagement and participation in activities
Requirements
- HNC or SVQ 3 in Childhood Practice or equivalent.
- Experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in English language
- Leadership qualities to guide children effectively
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: 12.60 per hour
