Playwork Practioner- Afterschool Care

13-15 per hour

16 hours per week (term-time) + additional hours in school holidays

The Role

We are looking for a motivated

Playworker

to join our team. The successful candidate will support the Service Manager in the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring high standards of care, play opportunities, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children's development. Ensure a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children. Maintain records in line with SSSC and Care Inspectorate standards.
About You

Essential:

Experience working in a childcare/playwork setting. SVQ Level 3 in Playwork/Childcare (or equivalent) Strong communication skills. Knowledge of Health & Social Care Standards.

Desirable:

Previous experience in a similar role. First Aid, Food Hygiene, or Child Protection training.
