We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Play Worker to join our team, providing a safe and engaging environment for children. 7:15am -9.00am, 2:45pm - 6:00pm
During
term time & 7:30am - 4:30pm Tuesdays/Wednesday/Thursdays in the school holidays. This post is 16 to 25 hours per week.
Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development through play.
Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional growth.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to childcare.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe environment for children to play and learn.
Monitor children's behaviour and provide guidance as needed to promote positive interactions.
Assist in the administration of daily routines, including meal times and transitions between activities.
Qualifications
A background in Childhood Education or relevant qualifications would be advantageous.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact with children, parents, and staff effectively.
