Premier Education are working collaboratively with primary schools to deliver exceptional before and after school care that is innovative, inspiring and above all a safe environment for all in our care. Your role will be to provide activities in a safe, secure and fun environment, providing an outstanding service for busy parents.

Premier Education successfully run full Wraparound provision in primary schools across the country. Our Premier Education Wraparound centres are Ofsted registered and can provide high quality out of school care for the parents. With this in mind we are looking for an outstanding applicant with experience to support in the delivery of of this provision in the local area.

Provision will be available in the breakfast club and the after-school club every Monday to Friday in term time.

Venue Location: 2 Locations available in Worthing



Example hours of work:



Monday - Friday: 07:30 - 09:00 & 14:00 - 18:00 - With additional hours for planning purposes scheduled in week.

We are looking for an organised, enthusiastic, well-motivated individual who enjoys working with children and takes pride in their work.

The Venue lead will need to be reliable, good at time keeping, confident dealing with parent questions and payment queries, be able to deliver to children, manage a small team of staff, be calm and willing to undertake any training relevant to the post, including first aid and food hygiene.

The Venue lead will be responsible for organising places for children, ensuring fees are paid, directing staff, and providing a stimulating and safe environment for all children who attend.

The Venue lead will also be expected to liaise with members of the school's Senior Leadership Team and the Governing Body regarding the new provision.

The Venue lead will need to make sure the wrap around care runs to a high standard and reflects the school's ethos.

The post involves the planning of activities, to support and engage children before and after school.

There will be a range of activities for the children to participate in during each session, both inside and out. These will need planning and preparing.

The Venue lead will need to oversee the weekly activities timetable and menus and communicate these to the parents and school.

The Venue lead will need to run regular stock takes to ensure equipment is up to standard and replenished.

The Venue lead will be required to ensure the ingredients required to provide 'healthy snacks' for the children each day are ordered.

Children will have the option to complete homework during the sessions, so with this in mind applicants must have achieved a Grade C or higher in English and Mathematics at GCSE level.

The Venue lead will be required to reply to emails and calls from parents.

The Venue lead must ensure all first aid/incidents are reported and logged on site.

The Venue lead will need to put on CPD training for staff and devise the termly activity timetable

The Venue lead must make sure daily registers are completed and stored on site.

The Venue lead will be reporting back to the Operations Manager on a daily/weekly basis.

Experience in a Childcare environment is preferred.

Desirable:



Appropriate Level 2 (or above) qualification (Child Care related)

Experience of working within a play-based setting

Experience of budgeting

Competent in using IT to support play and club administration

Ability to work on own initiative

Appropriate child protection training

Current 12-hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate
