In2Care is a branch of the well-established company In2Sport, both sit within the In2Group. In2Care provides a high-quality wrap around provision for children aged 3-11 in Primary Schools local to you. We offer Breakfast Clubs, After School Clubs and Holiday Camps.

After School Club Manager (Lead Play Worker)

to lead our After School Clubs. This is an ideal opportunity for a play worker in the childcare sector.

Days:

Monday - Friday (Term-Time Only)

Session time:

3.00pm-6.00pm (15 hours per week)

Reading

Rate of Pay:

12.50-14.00 per hour (dependent on qualifications/experience)

Requirements of a After School Club Manager:



- Must have experience of working with children

- Must be happy, friendly and fun!

- Must be a team player (this is very important to us; the children will love to have you on their Dodgeball team too of course!)

Ideally you will also have:



- Completed a Full Paediatric First Aid Course

- Completed a Level 2 course in Safeguarding

- Level 3 Early years/Childcare Qualification

- Completed a Level 2 course in Food Hygiene and Catering

(Don't worry if you don't have any of these - we have access to many great courses!)

Lead our after school club session, offering a fun and safe environment. Manage a small team on a daily basis and delegating to them to ensure all tasks are complete and the session runs smoothly. Ensure all of the team are motivated, happy, engaging and professional. Welcome parents and ensure effective parent communication. Inform head office of any parent feedback, requests or comments. Deal with all Safeguarding concerns following In2Care's Safeguarding Policy and Procedures. Ensuring all administration tasks are completed in a timely manner including the monitoring of our booking system - registers, accident forms, behaviour logs etc. Ensure all risk assessments are up to date and continually managed, checking the equipment and ensure safety at all times. Providing first aid when necessary following policy and procedures. Effectively manage the behaviour of the children. Effectively record and report behaviour incidents and inform Head Office and parents when appropriate. Ensure adequate supervision of indoor and outdoor activities with a mix of planned and child let activities.
In2Care have a thorough Safer Recruitment Process for successful candidates. This involves a Fully Enhanced DBS Check , Full Employment History, References and an Induction Programme.
