The Role
This is a
phone-led sales and coordination role
, focused on converting enquiries into bookings and ensuring every event is planned accurately and professionally. You'll support everything from small group bookings to large corporate events, confidently upselling add-ons such as food, drinks, and experience upgrades.
You'll also help monitor inboxes and live chat, handle customer queries and complaints, and work closely with venue operations and marketing teams. From time to time, you may also support outreach and brand awareness campaigns, including networking events and off-site promotional activity.
Key Responsibilities
Handling inbound phone calls and enquiries across all venues
Converting enquiries into bookings with confident upselling
Planning and organising group, party, and corporate events
Monitor sales targets and assist in developing strategies to achieve organisational objectives.
Using a CRM system to log and manage enquiries (HubSpot experience ideal)
Handling customer complaints and feedback professionally and empathetically
Liaising with venue teams to ensure bookings are delivered correctly
Supporting outreach, networking, and brand awareness campaigns
Occasional on-site support for events when required
Coordinate communication between clients and internal departments to facilitate smooth processing and delivery.
About You
Confident and professional on the phone
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional manner.
A proactive attitude with problem-solving capabilities.
Personable, approachable, and customer-focused
Comfortable handling objections and complaints
Previous sales, customer experience, or booking-based role preferred
CRM experience (HubSpot or similar) is a bonus
Flexible to occasionally support weekends or events
