Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Playwork Leader to join our Out of Schools team. The suitable candidate will manage the daily routine within our club, ensuring a safe and fun environment for all children. This position requires strong leadership skills, effective communication abilities, and a passion for early childhood play.

Duties

Manage the daily activities, ensuring compliance with health & safety standards. Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and children to foster a positive atmosphere. Drive initiatives that promote the development of children through engaging activities and programmes. Oversee staff performance, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills in childcare. Ensure that all children receive appropriate care and attention, catering to their individual needs. Communicate daily updates to parents as necessary. Collaborate with the management team to implement policies and procedures that enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a leadership role within a childcare or nursery setting is essential. Qualifications in level 5 childcare is required Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact with diverse audiences. Experience working with children, demonstrating an understanding of their developmental needs. A genuine passion for nurturing young minds and fostering their growth in a supportive environment.
