Do you love working with children and helping create fun, safe spaces where they can relax, play, and be themselves?

We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Playworker to join our team, supporting our

breakfast and after-school clubs

at Horsmonden Primary Academy.

This is a practical, active role that's perfect if you enjoy variety, teamwork, and making a difference.

Contract/Hours:

Term-time only/ 22 hours per week

Pay:

10.00 - 12.21 per hour

What you'll be doing:

Leading fun, creative and active play sessions Supporting children aged 4-11 before and after school Helping with set-up, pack-down and daily routines Encouraging positive behaviour and inclusive play Making sure safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed Building great relationships with children, parents and colleagues

What we're looking for:

Essential:

Experience working with children (paid or voluntary) A positive, reliable and friendly approach Confidence working as part of a team Understanding of child safety and wellbeing Availability for morning and/or afternoon sessions
Desirable:

Level 2+ childcare or playwork qualification First Aid, Safeguarding or Food Hygiene certificates (or willingness to train) Driving licence (helpful but not required)
