Play Worker - Breakfast & Afterschool Clubs

Location: Leigh Academy Horsmonden, TN12 8NJ

Hours: Part-time,

22 hours per week - Monday-Friday, to cover Breakfast Club (7:40am-8:40am) and After School (3:20pm - 6pm)

have just launched - and we are looking for I am little, enthusiastic Playworkers to help our new setting flourish.

who enjoys working with children and wants a fulfilling part-time leadership role during term time.

Day-to-day tasks include:

Leading fun and engaging play activities Supervising children aged 4-11 in a school club setting Ensuring safeguarding and safety procedures are always followed Serving snacks and promoting healthy habits Working closely with parents, carers, and colleagues
What We're Looking For:

Essential:

Aged 18+ (due to insurance and Ofsted regulations) Experience working with children in schools, nurseries, or play settings Confidence supporting play in a structured but fun environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Desirable (but not required):

A childcare qualification (or working towards one) First Aid, Safeguarding, or Food Hygiene certificates Full UK driving licence (for flexibility across sites)
