Join our friendly team delivering fun, safe and engaging activities for primary school children before and after school.
A fantastic, fun, varied and flexible opportunity for anyone who enjoys inspiring and supporting children. Being a playworker is so much more than just play - you'll help children learn, grow and feel safe before and after the school day.
Day-to-day tasks include:
Leading fun and engaging play activities
Supervising children aged 4-11 in a school club setting
Ensuring safeguarding and safety procedures are always followed
Serving snacks and promoting healthy habits
Working closely with parents, carers, and colleagues
What We're Looking For:
Essential:
Aged 18+
(due to insurance and Ofsted regulations)
Experience working with children in schools, nurseries, or play settings (paid or voluntary)
Confidence supporting play in a structured but fun environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Desirable (but not required):
A childcare qualification (or working towards one)
First Aid, Safeguarding, or Food Hygiene certificates
Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain)
