We are a busy out of school care service providing breakfast club, after school care and holiday club to families across East Renfrewshire. We currently require a confident and experienced childcare practitioners to join our team!

No two days are the same, so energy and creativity are a must! You might be leading an arts and crafts activity, doing some home baking, building a den, going on a bear hunt, directing a play or sailing paper boats down the river! We're very much child centred so the only limit to what we offer is the children's imaginations!

This role would suit an experienced childcare professional, preferably with prior out of school care experience. A relevant childcare or play work qualification would be advantageous. More important is energy, enthusiasm and a passion for working with children. We offer on the job training, ongoing support, flexible working hours and a competitive rate of pay.

The successful applicants will be required to meet the criteria for registration with the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme, Scottish Social Services Council and will be reference checked.

Requirements: Experience in working with children and a willingness to work towards a relevant Childcare or Playwork qualification at SVQ Level 7 would be desirable however not essential. The post will require registration with SSSC Practitioner level.

Current Salary - The current rate of pay for our qualified childcare practitioners is

up to 12.75 per hour.

Hours of Work - Our hours of service are 7.30-9am and 3-6pm. We have 3 vacancies to fill- 2 in our Newton Mearns service and one in our Netherlee service. All post are for 5 mornings and afternoon, although we can offer 4 days Monday to Thursday for the right candidate.
