Previous experience working with children aged 4 to 11 years.
Available to work between the hours of 2 pm to 6 pm, Monday to Friday Term Time
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to use own initiative and put forward ideas and suggestions.
Ability to cooperate with others.
Ability to relate to children
Willingness to attend staff meetings and training outside of working hours
Highly motivated and enthusiastic.
Desirable Criteria
NVQ in Playwork or CCLD.
To have a knowledge of the Playwork Principles and Play Types, and ability to promote them within a group of children.
The ability to use Playwork theory when setting up a play space.
Participation in courses relating to Playwork.
Skills in Sports, Games, Drama, Art or Music & Dance.
Certificate in Child Protection and/or First Aid. This must be a 12-hour course.

Pay: From 12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 12 - 20 per week
