Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for removing existing, reinstating or installing new, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various residential projects. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing principles, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate a range of hand and power tools. The ideal applicant will demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, physical stamina for heavy lifting, and the capacity to work independently or as part of a team. All positions are paid, including internship opportunities, offering valuable experience within the plumbing trade.

Duties

Remove, reinstate original or Instal newl, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with safety standards and building codes Use specialised plumbing and gas safe equipment, hand tools, power tools, and carpentry tools to complete tasks efficiently Conduct inspections to identify issues within plumbing systems and determine appropriate solutions Perform mechanical tasks requiring knowledge of basic math for measurements and calculations Assist in assembly of plumbing components and related structures during new installations or renovations Carry out heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to ensure smooth workflow Collaborate with team members on complex projects requiring mechanical knowledge and technical expertise Ensure work areas are kept clean and organised following health and safety regulations

Experience

Proven experience in plumbing or related trades is preferred; however, training opportunities are available for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills Familiarity with welding techniques is advantageous but not essential Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and basic carpentry skills is highly desirable Knowledge of mechanical systems, assembly processes, and general construction practices will be beneficial Valid commercial driving licence is a plus for transporting materials or equipment between sites Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments is required Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations, and problem-solving within technical tasks
