We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber/gas engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and practical experience in plumbing systems, with the ability to work efficiently in both residential and commercial and the use of hand and power tools, ensuring the delivery of high-quality plumbing solutions. The position requires a valid driving licence for commercial driving duties. Applicants will be paid for their work and will be expected to uphold safety standards at all times.
Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in various environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete projects accurately and efficiently.
Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify faults or potential issues.
Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment necessary for installation or repairs.
Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot complex plumbing problems.
Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within specifications.
Follow health and safety regulations diligently during all tasks.
Assist with carpentry work or other related tasks as required for project completion.
Drive company vehicles responsibly for material transportation or site visits.
Requirements
Proven experience in plumbing installation and maintenance.
Proficiency with welding, hand tools, power tools, and assembly processes.
Strong mechanical knowledge combined with basic maths skills for measurements and calculations.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
Experience with carpentry or related trades is advantageous.
Valid driving licence suitable for commercial driving duties.
Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
