Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to complete tasks effectively. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure accurate installation and repairs. Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance. Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to facilitate installation or repair work. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used for each project. Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety regulations, including safe handling of tools and materials.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role within the construction or maintenance industry. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of plumbing systems and components. Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and reading technical diagrams. Experience with carpentry may be advantageous for certain installations or repairs. Valid driving licence for commercial driving is desirable but not essential. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
