We are seeking a skilled Heating Engineer and plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various tasks related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating systems. This role requires a hands-on approach, with the ability to work with both power and hand tools, as well as the capability to perform heavy lifting. Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair heating systems in residential and commercial properties.
Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of heating equipment.
Assemble components and systems using hand tools and power tools.
Plumb heating systems according to specifications and regulations.
Perform welding tasks as necessary for system repairs or installations.
Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters for integrated system installations.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Heating Engineer or similar role is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and schematics.
Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs.
Basic maths skills for calculations related to system specifications.
Valid commercial driving licence is advantageous for transportation of equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
